Dan Humiston: [00:00:00] All right, everyone. Thanks for joining us. And welcome back. We have a great show in store for you today. Podcaster motivational speaker and global healer. Justin Benton is here to talk about his podcast, the miracle plant, Justin. Welcome to the show.
Justin Benton: Hey, long time, no chat. great to see you, Dan. Thanks for having me on and love your platform. And I'm so honored and happy to be on this new podcast, podcasters. Congratulations launching yet another podcast.
Dan Humiston: , we're really excited to have you onbecause podcasters do podcast for a lot of reasons, but your why as you call it is so inspirational. Your why is to spread the miracle of hemp to 1 billion. That's with a B 1 billion people by 2025. And you're using your podcast and many other vehicles to accomplish this mission.
And I thought to get started. You could briefly tell our listeners why you have this calling to pay the miracle plant for.
[00:01:00] Justin Benton: Absolutely. Well, we I had a really successful career in sales and marketing and I ran some businesses and life was going well. And my wife and I had our second child and white picket fence, the house, the dog living out here in Southern California jet-setter lifestyle.
Playing golf all the time and traveling the world. So life was good. And then my son was about two, two and a half. We were playing catch in the backyard and walking and talking and going to the park and all that fun stuff. And then all of a sudden he lost his ability to communicate.
And we got a diagnosis that was severe and really was a gut punch to our family and changed our lives forever. And that was a severe autism diagnosis. And. Unfortunately, I was raised with a holistic plant-based medicine. I understood how our bodies work and we went to work and really got the test that we needed to see what he was allergic to and what kind of things was going on with his system.
And we cleaned up his diet and his nutrition, and we got them about halfway back. From severe to moderate autism diagnosis. And then I just kept [00:02:00] pushing and found a, this miracle plant was helping children with epilepsy and seizures. And so I figured, well, if it could help seizures and epilepsy, maybe by the grace of God, it can help with a neurological element of autism.
And so, we tried some products, didn't get the results we wanted. Didn't get it. flew around the world. Talk to more. Researchers talked to more experts and came across Dr. William Courtney, who showed us that you could use the plan. And he was doing research with cancer patients and having tremendous success.
And that was my aha moment. When I realized, why are we heating, processing this beautiful plant with 500 parts to it? I always like to joke, if you want to get high heat it, if you want to get healthy, eat it. And so we made some high CBD, a, the robbers version of CBD cannabis, hemp,
and my son was at a pumpkin patch. We gave it to him orally after a big tantrum and two minutes later, he snapped out of it, went out and picked his pumpkin with his sister. And that was our aha moment. We're happy to report. Now , he's off the spectrum. It's in a journal called the endocannabinoid medicine journal.
[00:03:00] You can read about the whole case study and our prayers are answered. And so we set up one-on-one CBD dot Oregon, the miracle planet podcast to tell our story, give hope and inspiration to other families affected by severe elements and give them access to the same products to free hemp seeds, teach them how to grow it in the backyard.
Dan Humiston: Another platform that you're using to get your message out is clubhouse. In fact you're so active on clubhouse. You're known as the clubhouse wizard. And you're doing something really unique that not a lot of podcasters have figured out right now is you're combining both platforms to reach more people.
How are you doing that? And how's that working?
Justin Benton: Well, I remember Dan that when I think it was one of your first days on clubhouse and we connected on there and I said, Hey, Dan,what do you think about recording a podcast on clubhouse? And it was impromptu and you're always Johnny on the spot.
And so we kind of figured it out. We made it happen . Clubhouse has been an amazing Platform, and there's no holds barred.
There's no accounts being shut down like Facebook and things like that. There's no real censorship if you [00:04:00] will. And so it's just a free platform. It's an audio drop in for us podcasters people who like to listen to audio it's really a cool platform and we've connected with so many people. Doctors, researchers, cannabis, enthusiasts, parents of children with severe diagnosis.
And then it's just been an incredible a platform. And so I got a costume from Lord of the rings that I ordered. And then on Sundays, I do a little recap on Instagram. And I'm just so happy that we have these two amazing platforms to share these miracle stories and clubhouse, to share more stories and connect with more people to really educate people about this plant, because there is so much misinformation.
Yeah.
Dan Humiston: Yeah. And I think people don't appreciate how difficult it is for us to get the message out because a lot of sites, won't let us get the information out, one of the things about, your podcast, super informative, no doubt about it, but what I really love about your show is that your guests.
They're just regular, everyday people, but they have extraordinary, like life-changing [00:05:00] inspirational stories. You brought a clip along from one of your shows super inspirational episode. Can you tell us a little bit about what we're about to do?
Justin Benton: Well, this is from Connie and she was one of the very first people that really changed my mind and opened my eyes to what this plant could do for so many people in so many different ways. Because building on the second story, we had a couple of different suites and I had an extra one and that's where we started.
One-on-one CBD just like the oh one highway. And we put a big sign up there and figured we'd help some other autistic families and whatever else we could do. And a really early on Connie was helped up the stairs by her husband because she couldn't walk. She couldn't stand for more than 90 seconds because she had neuropathy, shooting pain in her hands and feet.
And it's just a miserable condition. She was against pot, marijuana. And the last place on earth she wanted to be [00:06:00] was what she thought was a pot shop, which wasn't, who was a CBD store. But but she had tried everything pharmaceutical and nothing was giving her the relief.
She was not living a life that she wanted to live. And so out of desperation. Was helped up the stairs by her husband and found us and I'll let her tell her story of how it worked out.
Dan Humiston: Every time I hear that, it just, it gives me goosebumps.
You could just hear the pain in her voice when she was talking about having to have her husband carrier, basically up the stairs to meet with you. That has had to make you feel so good.
Justin Benton: Well again, when I first heard of the word neuropathy, I didn't know what it meant.
Dan Humiston: I don't know what it means.
Justin Benton: Yeah. I mean, it's pain, sharp pain, tingling, numb pain, all over your body. She came up the stairs, gave our products, a good shot. And literally three days later, she came back and like bounding up the stairs.
And she's, it's my resurrection juice. I'm back from the [00:07:00] dead. And so she's been such an amazing ambassador for our company because she's just so passionate about it. It gave her life back and just like it cleared the fog for my son. This miracle plant helps our body find homeostasis. It helps our body fight.
The good fight our bodies want to heal. Our bodies know how to heal this plant just gives it that extra firepower to get things back in balance.
Dan Humiston: Oh, my gosh. And, she's just one of, so many other stories, whether they're parents of children with autism, like your story, , we've had a few great episodes of that fed people with children with epilepsy. We've had rheumatoid arthritis episodes we've had multiple sclerosis.
. Every one of these people are telling these stories that are just like, why doesn't the world know this? Because this is crazy. These people are suffering suffering. None. They're not suffering at all.
Justin Benton: Yeah. , these are the platforms that we have. We have the podcast, we have word of mouth. We have organic traffic, we [00:08:00] have clubhouse. And now that we're getting past the Corona situation . We can go back to having people come to our stores.
I mean, the people that love them. Are 50 years and older and they've got these conditions and they want to come in and talk to somebody. They don't want to go to Amazon and buy some low price leader hemp oil, or whatever's out there. And so we can continue to start opening other stores and franchise opportunities.
Because people want to come in and talk for 10 or 15 minutes, look someone in the eye and ask questions and have a really good understanding that you're buying a product from someone who understands how the body works and is creating a top quality product that really works. Using all the levers and pulling all of them that we can and someday down the road it'll be, probably be easier.
But right now this is the fight we've got.
Dan Humiston: Well to get to 1 billion people. By 2025, it takes a person like Justin Benton. With this type of energy, the miracle plant podcast airs every [00:09:00] Wednesday on all the major sites, including pod connects, where you can also apply to be a guest on his show. Or you can join a Saturday morning. On clubhouse for the live caping, Justin, it's been a real pleasure to work with you.
I really enjoy what you're doing and I give you so much credit. Keep it up. Thanks for being on the show. Thanks for giving everybody a second chance. This is great.
Justin Benton: Appreciate it. Dan love all the work you do love working with you as well, brother, you keep doing it.
Dan Humiston: Hey, before we go, , how do you end every miracle plant?
Justin Benton: Well, we count to three and we say, heal the world. Cause that's, our mission truly is to heal the world because what this miracle plan can do for all of us. So if you want, we can unmute our mics and marquetry and say heal the world because that's really what we're on a mission for. And so many great people out there are looking for a solution.
And yeah, let's do it.
Two three.
Thanks, Dan. Love it.
